About Rasheedah Thompson

Rasheedah Thompson has years of experience as a therapist working in crisis counseling, drug and alcohol counseling, family counseling, marriage and family therapy, and individual counseling. Graduating with her degree from Capella University and a member of Delta Kappa Pi's Capella Chapter for honor students and interning with Spencer Counseling Services in Houston Texas her experience in helping others comes in many modalities. Rasheedah's way of conducting therapy aligns most with Collaborative Dialogical Systems developed by Harlene Anderson that places the emphasis on collaboration, honesty, respect, and empowerment and is a subset of narrative therapy making therapy more personable. In Rasheedah's spare-time she loves spending time with her husband of 15 years and their 3 children traveling.

Rasheedah is currently supervised by Dr. Brian Shrawder also known as The Marriage Doc., as she obtains hours for her licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. Dr. Shrawder can be found at Themarriagedoc.com and on psychology today.
